I've been getting a lot of pressure to post more, so here it goes lol.  This last week was pretty much dedicated to getting the team ready to play our scrimmage game this past Saturday.  We spent a lot of time in the gym, and a lot of time meeting with teammates to try and get everyone on the same page.  We also made two trips on the train to Munich this week to grab food with teammates.  We have made really good friends with some teammates and their family.  They are very traditional Turkish Muslims, but most importantly they are very good people.  We have dinner and hangout at their house (which is in a small village about 5 miles away) a couple times a week.  Right now in all Germany, they are getting ready to celebrate the Maibaum (spelling?)  Every city makes this giant (200+ feet) tree that is decorated really cool, and they raise it up on the 1st of May.  Every city hides their tree in some secret place in their town, and if someone from a neighboring town steals the tree from another city, THAT city has to pay them in food and beer to get their tree back.  Ian and I have really been trying to rally teammates to go steal one of these bad boys, but haven't been able to build a big enough army lol.  If some of the boys from back home were here, we would Navy Seal our way into every town in Germany and steal like 50 trees.  Anyways, there's this big festival called Frulingsfest (spelling again? haha) in town.  It's very traditional.  People dress up and drink beer in big tents, it's pretty sweet.

We scrimmaged the Albershausen Crusaders yesterday and beat em pretty good!  I think it ended up being 35-10, but I felt like we pretty much dominated the game.  Ian played really good, threw 5 touchdowns.  I had about 7 grabs for 135 and a couple TDs.  On the first play of the game for our offense, Ian threw me a play action bomb for a 55 yards TD.  This team wasn't great, but the feel of the game is a lot slower than what I'm used to.  The opponents will get better, but we definitely showed that we can compete with anyone.  The other team's club made a highlight reel of some of the plays so here is the link to that on youtube.

Game week is coming up now.  We play the Munich Rangers at home, and I'm really excited.  We have a lot of film breakdown to do, and we are hosting meetings here at our house this week for the players.  I know I say this every time, but I miss everyone back home!  I hope everyone is living good, and I can't wait to see you!  I will update after the next game.  Go Razorbacks!
